November 26, 2019 – Addnode Group's subsidiary, Decerno, has signed an agreement with Skånetrafiken on the development of a new travel search engine and a new service platform. The agreement covers four years with the option of an additional extension of two plus two years. The agreement includes a total value of approximately SEK 120 million over four years.
Skånetrafiken's search engine for travel becomes part of a larger platform for services. By developing this new platform, Skånetrafiken collects all available data, packs it in various services in order to make it easily accessible to travelers via channels such as app and web pages. At the same time, the platform makes it easier for Skånetrafiken to make the information accessible to everyone who benefits from it – not least other players who are interested in creating digital services for public transport.
– The new platform is the hub between Skånetrafiken's more internal systems and our more public e-services – systems that must communicate with each other. The new platform that Decerno is now developing ensures a secure and cost-effective exchange of information, says Johan Frithiof-Karlberg, Head of Digitalisation & IT at Skånetrafiken.
Decerno's mission includes being agile and forward thinking on new solutions for future public transport tools – all to benefit Skånetrafiken's travelers.
The agreement covers four years with the option of an additional extension of two plus two years. The agreement includes a total value of approximately SEK 120 million over four years. In the choice of supplier, Skånetrafiken has applied the best relationship between price and a number of different quality criteria.
