Koenigsegg and TECHNIA leverage 3DEXPERINCE to facilitate growth

TECHNIA, the number 1 knowledge leader in PLM and Engneering, announced today that they have been strategically engaged by the record-breaking Swedish ultimate performance megacar manufacturer, Koenigsegg Automotive.

This ongoing partnership supports Koenigsegg's commitment to cutting-edge technology in all aspects of their business. The new developments will enable the fast evolution of Koenigsegg's PLM infrastructure to keep up with the rigors and demands of their unique automotive technology business model.

Under the business agreement, TECHNIA will handle the transformation from legacy tools and processes to the latest version of Dassault Systèmes' industry-leading Computer-Aided Design software, CATIA V6.

"The 3DEXPERIENCE platform has very powerful tools to report directly on live 3D engineering data. It is easily accessible with a big palette of tools for us to review and communicate progress and engineering designs in real-time. It also allows us to perform design reviews using super thin clients directly in the system with issue management capabilities to document them and notify responsible engineers. And in the later phases, we will be introducing other 3DEXPERIENCE based solutions within digital manufacturing and composites design."
